HellasVeg and Panorama Tennis Academy (P.T.A.) continue their strong partnership in 2025, offering the children of the Summer Tennis Camp healthy and delicious vegetarian snacks. Following the successful initiative of 2023, this remarkable collaboration returns with the aim of promoting to children and young people the value of learning and entertainment through sports, combined with proper, vegetarian, and balanced nutrition.
The Summer Tennis Camp took place at the facilities of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (TEFAA A.U.Th.) during the first two weeks of July, with participants ranging from 4 to 14 years old. In addition to instruction in modern tennis methodologies and techniques, the children engaged in a variety of activities that promoted physical exercise, mental development, and social skills.
In the spirit of this educational initiative, the Hellenic Vegetarian Association, HellasVeg, made a significant contribution by providing vegetarian snacks that support the children’s healthy and eco-friendly diet. The young athletes had the opportunity, after their demanding training sessions, to enjoy sandwiches made with vegetables such as mushrooms, eggplant, pepper, tomato, and cucumber, as well as with cheese, olives, and falafel, accompanied by refreshing sauces.








The event concluded with an informative talk by the HellasVeg team, during which the importance of reducing meat consumption was highlighted, along with the positive impact this has on health, the environment, and animal welfare. It was also emphasized that a diet based on fruits and vegetables serves as the “green fuel” for athletes, providing them with energy and vitality thanks to its macro- and micronutrient content. Following the talk, awards were presented to our young friends for their athletic performance and participation in the program.
Through initiatives and collaborations like this one, we encourage children to discover and embrace vegetarian nutrition through tasty, nutritious, and imaginative options. This helps them integrate it into their daily lives, supporting their health and raising awareness for a more sustainable future.
